Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 May 2026  ·  Effective: 28 May 2026

Short version: We use exactly one cookie — a secure session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or analytics cookies.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are logged in.

2. Cookies We Use

ThoughtPilot uses a single, strictly necessary cookie:

This cookie is set when you log in and deleted when you log out or it expires. It is an HTTP-only, secure, same-site cookie — it cannot be read by JavaScript and is only sent over HTTPS.

3. Cookies We Do Not Use

We do not use:

4. localStorage

The app stores your theme preference (light/dark mode) in your browser's localStorage under the key tp_theme. This is not a cookie and does not leave your device — it is purely for your visual comfort.

5. Third-Party Cookies

When you go through the checkout process, Paddle (our payment processor) may set cookies on their own checkout pages. These are covered by Paddle's privacy policy.

Google Fonts (used for our typography) is loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request, but no tracking cookie is set in connection with ThoughtPilot. See Google's privacy policy for details.

6. Managing Cookies

Because we only use one essential cookie, disabling cookies in your browser will prevent you from staying logged in — the Service will not function correctly without it.

If you wish to delete the session cookie, you can log out of ThoughtPilot (which removes it automatically), or clear your browser cookies for thoughtpilotai.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we start using additional cookies in the future, we will update this policy and notify users in advance. We are committed to keeping our cookie use minimal.
